2/26/2020 0 Comments What I have learned:Germany had to suffer the consequences from WWI by paying off debts, and they lost land and their limit for military. This allowed Hitler to take advantage of the fall of Germany by being a voice people can look towards. He made great promises to bring Germany up again. Hitler turned to Jews as the blame for Germany's demise.
2/26/2020 0 Comments Impact on germanyAfter World War 1 Germany had to suffer the blame and the consequences. They were faced with the Treaty of Versailles which caused then the loss military and land, and also have to pay hefty repair fees. This was Germanys down fall which made it perfect for Hitler to step in. Hitler took advantage of Germanys struggle and gave the people a voice to listen to. H promised great things like to gain back land and become strong again. Hitler would lead and have a say in what the military does and who they fight with. He gained back a lot of Germanys lost land and his power just became stronger. He found someone to put the blame on for all of Germanys struggles and he chose the Jews. Jews were then treated as if their were less of human and more like an object and were even called by their number assigned to them. This led to the death of many Jews and the creation of camps.
1/23/2020 0 Comments I have learned:Prior to this project I had little to no knowledge about World War 1. I have advanced to learn when the war started and important factors that have led to all the casualties, My most favorite thing that I have learned was the effects of the gases (Chlorine, Mustard, and Phosgene gas) that were used against opposing soldiers. The second fact I find interesting about ww1 was that many of the bigger and powerful weapons were first introduced to battles during this war particularly, like the machine gun and tanks. My other most intriguing fact that I found while researching about my artifacts was that the women who were nurses not only helped the hurt and wounded soldiers physically but they all were emotional help to the soldiers.
